The position
As the Project Manager, you will collaborate broadly across the organisation, working closely with internal stakeholders to manage software build and system change initiatives.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Applying Tailoring to select the right project management methodology (predictive, hybrid, or Agile) and development approach for each initiative.
- Leading project teams to deliver outcomes on time, within budget, and with a focus on delivering value for internal stakeholders.
- Engaging and managing stakeholders at all levels across ReturnToWorkSA.
- Overseeing end‑to‑end project delivery, from Initiating through to Closing, in alignment with the SDLC and Project Delivery Procedure.
- Supporting a high‑performing team culture, navigating complexity, and managing risks, issues, and dependencies.
- Building strong collaborative relationships across business and technology areas.
This is a full‑time fixed-term position for 2 years.
About you

- Demonstrated experience delivering end-to-end IT projects, including both predictive and Agile approaches.
- Experience managing upgrade, maintenance or run projects, including cloud-based environments.
- Proven ability to build trusting relationships with stakeholders and vendors.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
- Ability to navigate complexity, adapt to context, and apply the right level of rigour to each project
- Skills gained from extensive project management experience.
- Experience managing projects using PMBOK, SDLC, and Tailoring.
- Experience with project scheduling tools such as ServiceNow Project Workspace and/or Microsoft Project.
- Required certifications: PMP or PRINCE2.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, with the ability to influence across all organisational levels.
- Ability to build strong, trusting relationships through open, caring, and attentive engagement.
- Highly collaborative, able to work effectively across numerous business and IT teams.
- Self-awareness, calmness under pressure, and a personable, grounded approach.
