The opportunity
Lead with purpose in a role that helps shape the future of HR at ReturnToWorkSA. As the Transition Advisor, with your HR and recruitment expertise you will play a key role in recruiting and onboarding talent for our evolving People, Capability and Culture (PC&C) function. This will be by extension contributing directly to better outcomes for South Australian workers and businesses.
Working within a collaborative and supportive People, Capability and Culture team, you will have the opportunity to design meaningful onboarding experiences, support a seamless recruitment journey, and enable the successful transition to a modern, agile HR service delivery model.
The position
You will be responsible for leading recruitment, HR onboarding and capability development for the new People, Capability and Culture team structure, including:
- Sourcing top talent for a range of specialist HR roles.
- Designing and delivering a high-quality onboarding experience that reflects our inclusive and values-led culture.
- Coaching and supporting new PC&C leaders and employees in good recruitment practice and candidate experience.
- Managing employment checks, pre-commencement admin, and onboarding logistics.
- Partnering with leaders to co-design onboarding and training plans for new hires.
- Maintaining strong talent pools and external recruitment stakeholder relationships.
- Ensuring smooth handover of activities to People Advisors, Business Partners and leaders as the new model embeds.

About you
You are a people-focused HR or recruitment professional who thrives in fast-paced, collaborative environments. With proven experience in end-to-end recruitment and onboarding, you bring strong attention to detail, clear communication skills and a commitment to delivering exceptional candidate experiences. You are confident in building relationships across all levels and your ability to balance strategic thinking with practical execution makes you a trusted partner during times of change. Comfortable navigating HR systems and evolving processes, you bring a proactive mindset and a passion for supporting others through transition, growth and opportunity.

The total remuneration package for this position is starting from $101,481 per annum (exclusive of superannuation). The final offer will be commensurate with the successful candidate’s qualifications, skills and experiences.
