The opportunity
As a ReCONNECT Advisor, you’ll make a positive contribution to people’s lives by supporting workers and their families affected by work injury. Advisors are committed to early engagement of injured workers to support the self-identification of non-compensable issues, recognising varying levels of capability and self-empowerment, and tailoring case management to support the client achieve their goals and enable a focus on recovery and return to work. You’ll manage allocated cases, connecting with injured workers to assess their needs and recommend free or low-cost services and resources to help them focus on their recovery and returning to work. You’ll be part of a close-knit team that values collaboration, prioritises mental fitness and wellbeing, celebrates feedback and offers opportunities for growth and development.
The position
In this role you will collaborate with injured workers to support them in navigating towards appropriate services, reducing non-compensable barriers to returning to work. You will contribute to team meetings to understand priorities, maintain accurate records and utilise your interviewing skills through phone calls, online platforms, or in-person meetings to quickly build rapport. You will actively participate in the development, implementation and review of service guidelines, protocols, and activities, ensuring a commitment to delivering a high-quality service with a focus on early engagement. This role encourages creative thinking and exploration of new avenues while promoting a culture of positive well-being.
This role will be a full-time ongoing position.
About you
You’ll have a strong holistic understanding of South Australia’s psycho-social supports available in the community, including those offered by government agencies, non-for-profit organisations and allied health sectors. You are passionate about inclusion and the opportunity to work with diverse populations, including those facing mental health and financial challenges. This role is well-suited for someone with experience in case management, support work, aged/disability services, financial wellbeing, or community connection.

- Current driver’s licence is essential as you will need to travel to meet with clients

The total remuneration package for this position is starting from $101,481 (exclusive of superannuation). The final offer will be commensurate with the successful candidate’s qualifications, skills and experiences.
